The first portfolios are now live with the integration between Aareon REMS and Proprli.
The integration connects technical property management with financial administration in a way that fits existing property management structures. Not by merging disciplines, but by allowing each domain to operate from its own strength, while ensuring that data flows reliably between them.
Technical property management as a dedicated domain
Technical property management has become a defining part of modern property management. Buildings are more complex, regulatory requirements continue to evolve, and maintenance activities require long-term structure and consistency.
Within this reality, Proprli is positioned as a dedicated technical layer. The platform is used to manage technical processes such as compliance, inspections, maintenance activities and operational follow-up. This allows technical teams to work from a clear and structured domain, without interfering with established financial workflows.
REMS as the financial backbone
Within this setup, Aareon REMS remains the financial and administrative core. Existing processes and controls stay intact, and REMS continues to serve as the primary environment for financial oversight and administration.
The integration ensures that technical data managed in Proprli is connected to REMS in a structured and consistent way. This reduces manual alignment and parallel processes, while reinforcing the role of REMS as the central system within the property management organisation.
Connected domains, stronger operations
With multiple portfolios now live, the integration is being used in daily operations. Technical and financial teams continue to work within their own systems and areas of expertise, while the connection between Proprli and REMS ensures that information moves smoothly between domains.
This approach strengthens property management operations as a whole. Teams collaborate more effectively from their own disciplines, while organisations gain better continuity and control across technical and financial data.
Growing interest from the REMS ecosystem
Since the first portfolios went live, a clear pattern has started to emerge. Existing REMS customers are increasingly exploring this integration as a way to further strengthen their technical property management, without changing their financial core.
Together with Aareon, Proprli is currently in conversation with multiple interested organisations that recognise the value of adding a dedicated technical layer alongside REMS. These discussions are taking place jointly, reflecting the partnership behind the integration and the shared ambition to support REMS users in a way that fits their existing operating models.
This growing interest confirms that the integration is not a one-off solution, but a setup that resonates more broadly within the Aareon REMS ecosystem.
A shared direction
The collaboration between Aareon and Proprli reflects a shared understanding of how property management is evolving. Financial and technical processes are increasingly interdependent, but they do not need to be consolidated into a single system to work well together.
By keeping domains clear and connecting them through reliable data exchange, property management organisations can continue to build on existing strengths while preparing for future complexity.
We look forward to further expanding this integration together with Aareon and the REMS community. A special thank you to Harald Hoeben and Richard Beers, who played an important role in bringing this integration live.
